Extra-curricular Courses for Schools

Idiomes Tarraco specialises in English classes for Young Learners and the Director of the school, Keith Armstrong, has considerable experience in the organisation of Cambridge English exams and extraescolar English classes for schools in Tarragona.

All of our English teachers have obtained a specific English language teaching qualification such as the Cambridge CELTA/DELTA or Trinity TESOL Certificate/Diploma. They also receive continuing professional development throughout the academic year in order to keep improving their teaching skills. 

• We offer extra-curricular classes (P4 to Batxillerat) to local schools and AMPAs/AFAs who are keen to improve their students’ level of English. Below is a list of the services we offer:
• Courses take place in the school’s own premises and the groups usually have a minimum of 6 participants and a maximum of 15.
• Courses could last the academic year, from September/October to June or just 10 weeks (15  hours), in order give students an insight into Cambridge English exams – e.g. YLE, Key (KET), Preliminary (PET) – and help familiarise them with the relevant exam technique.
