Will I be able to check my/my child's attendance online?
Yes, students/parents can access attendance, reports and certificates online.
Will I get feedback from the teacher on my/my child's progress?
Adult students receive two tutorials with their teacher: one mid-course in February and one at the end of the course in June.
Young Learners receive Reports at the end of every term. These are accessed online In addition, two Parents’ Evenings take place – in February and June – when parents can meet with teachers.
Will I have the opportunity to give feedback to the school about the service I receive?
The school conducts satisfaction evaluations with all students in November and in May. A Suggestions Box is also available in Reception for clients to use.
How do I make a complaint or express my satisfaction?
A meeting can be requested with the Director and a Complaints Form is available in Reception. A Compliments Book in Reception can also be used by clients to record their satisfaction with service received.
How do I get advice about my/my child's learning?
Please request a meeting with the Director.
How can I help myself/my child to make more progress?
The more contact they have with English the better – by reading books, using language learning websites, watching DVDs/cartoons, revising vocabulary and grammar already studied, etc.
Will I have access to extra learning resources?
The school has a library of books and DVDs, which can be borrowed free of charge from Reception using the Idiomes Tarraco Club Card.
Do I have to sign up in advance for the Homework Club or Exam/Language Workshops?
Yes. Students can sign-up online via our website.
If I am interested in a Cambridge English exam, who should I speak to?
Please speak to Reception who will be happy to give you further information.
What extras are included in the Idiomes Tarraco Club Card?
Free access to the school’s library of English books and DVDs; Free attendance at the Homework Club for Kids and Teens on Friday afternoons and free attendance at Exam and Language Workshops for Adults on Saturday mornings.
